Bibiru & Friends (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal data we collect through bibirubear.com, why we collect it and how we protect it, in line with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
1. What we collect
- Bibiru Club sign-ups: your first name, email address, your child’s age group (1–2, 3–4 or 5), your language, where you signed up and when you gave consent.
- Schools and kindergartens enquiries: your name, your school’s name, your email address and your message.
- Visiting the site: our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs (such as your IP address and browser type) to keep the site safe and working.
We collect details from parents and teachers only. We never ask for a child’s name, photo or any other details about your child beyond the age group.
2. Why we use it
- To send Bibiru Club emails you asked for: a free printable, a monthly good-habit tip and news of new songs.
- To reply to your enquiry.
- To keep the site secure, including a spam check on our forms.
Giving us your details is your choice. Without an email address we can’t send Bibiru Club emails or reply to you.
3. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with the services that help us run Bibiru & Friends:
- Brevo, our email service, which stores the Bibiru Club list, sends our emails and passes school enquiries to us.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and checks forms for spam.
- Shopify, when you buy a printable. Your purchase happens in our Shopify shop and follows Shopify’s privacy policy.
- YouTube, only after you press play on a video. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and nothing loads from YouTube until you press play.
Some of these services may store data outside Malaysia. We choose providers that protect personal data to a high standard.
4. How long we keep it
We keep Bibiru Club details until you unsubscribe, and enquiry details for as long as we need to help you. After that, we delete them.
5. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from Bibiru Club emails at any time with the link in every email.
- Ask to see the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it, or to stop using it and delete it.
To do any of these, email hello@bibirubear.com. We’ll reply within 21 days.
6. Keeping it safe
We use secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to your data to the people who need it to run Bibiru & Friends.
7. Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
